Inflatable Screens
Take your outdoor events to the next level with our giant inflatable screens, available in sizes ranging from 8 to 24 meters.
Whether for movie screenings, sporting events, or festivals, our screens combine lightness, sustainability et ease of installation.

Thanks to its all-in-one system, this innovative screen revolutionizes setup for your outdoor events. It comes with a built-in bag and automatically unfolds once connected to the blower, allowing a single person to set it up in just 30 minutes.
Public screenings, festivals, or any event requiring a large-format screen that is quick to set up.

The world's lightest

With a 10-year warranty

(with a permanent blower)
Patented technology, professional-grade quality
The lightest in the world, easy to carry. Our screens are up to 3× lighter than the competition thanks to our patented airbag fabric technology.
Inflates in just a few minutes using a continuous blower. Only one operator is needed for models up to 13 meters.
Designed to withstand inclement weather: wind resistance up to 38 km/h (6 Beaufort); beyond that, the screen deflates in a few minutes as a precaution.
A low-noise blower is included in each kit. It does not interfere with sound projection.
High-definition projection screen, gain 1.2. Compatible with 4K, laser, and standard projectors.

While most inflatable screens use a heavy, rigid PVC tarp, ours combine two technical fabrics, both made from DuPont materials.
A high-tenacity polyamide 6.6—the same yarn used in airbags and paraglider canopies, manufactured by DuPont de Nemours—woven in a ripstop weave and coated with polyurethane (PU). Waterproof, UV-resistant, washable, and exceptionally lightweight.
A 250-denier Dacron® fabric, matte white (high-density polyester, 130 g/m²), secured with Velcro, machine-washable, gain 1.2, compatible with 4K and laser.
| Feature | Our Screens | Classic PVC Screen |
|---|---|---|
| Fiber | High-toughness polyamide 6.6 (DuPont de Nemours) | Polyester |
| Armor | Ripstop | Coated fabric |
| Coating | Polyurethane (PU) | PVC |
| Fabric weight | ~110–200 g/m² | ~500–650 g/m² |
| Fiber Tenacity | 7–10 cN/dtex | ~6–8 cN/dtex |
| Tensile Strength | ~1,120 N (grab) | ~1,800–2,200 N/5 cm |
| Tear — tear line | ~370 N | ~250–350 N |
| Tear — propagation | Stopped by the ripstop | Spreads under tension |
| Abrasion (Martindale) | > 10,000 cycles | Correct |
| Fire Resistance | B1 | B1 |
| Feature | Our Screens | Classic PVC Screen |
|---|---|---|
| Subject | Dacron® 250 D | Matte PVC fabric |
| Weight | 130 g/m² | about 590 g/m² |
| Gain | 1.2 | ~0.96 |
| Mounting | Velcro — the fabric stays in place | Eyelets every 20 cm + fasteners |
| Interview | Machine washable | Hand Wash |
| After the session | Can be removed in a single step | To be untied, up to ~470 ties |
A PVC fabric sometimes has a higher tensile strength: this is normal, since it is 3 to 4 times heavier. The only truly comparable measure is weight—our fabric is about 3 times lighter, and our surface area is about 4.5 times lighter (130 vs. ~590 g/m²). At the same weight, nylon 6.6 outperforms polyester in tear strength and abrasion resistance.
The fabric used in our screens is the same as that used in airbags: a material designed to deploy flawlessly and save lives. We incorporate this standard into every screen we make.
For screens of the same size, ours weigh about one-third as much. Comparison of total weights (frame + surface) with published data for a competitor's screen:
| Canvas width | Competitor Screen | Our Screens | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| ~9 m | 145 kg | 50 kg | ≈ 3× lighter |
| ~12 m | 249 kg | 80 kg | ≈ 3× lighter |
| ~16 m | 417 kg | 180 kg | ≈ 2.3× lighter |
| ~20–22 m | 868 kg | 280 kg | ≈ 3× lighter |
The “tear strength” rating only measures the force required to start a tear. What matters is what happens next: thanks to the ripstop weave, a tear remains localized—the screen stays inflated, the image holds, and the projection continues. On a welded PVC panel, however, a cut can spread under wind pressure.
For others, the rift is widening. For us, it is coming to an end.
Lightweight, flexible, set up by a single person, and transported in a van—no crane or forklift required. Our screens can reach locations that are inaccessible to a heavy screen delivered on a pallet:
Where others need a crane and a truck, all we need is a pair of hands.

An inflated flexible structure flexes under a gust: the internal air mass acts as a damper. A rigid structure takes the load stiffly and fails more abruptly. Rated wind: 38 km/h in both cases; beyond that, the screen is deflated within a few minutes as a precaution.
A screen that moves slightly loses none of its sharpness. The projector sits 15 metres away, often more than 30: at that distance, the depth of field is virtually infinite. A sway of a few centimetres represents less than 1% of the projection distance — the image never falls out of focus. Properly tensioned, the fabric stays flat and the image perfectly sharp.
| Our (flexible) displays | Rigid screen | |
|---|---|---|
| Under gusts | Bends — the internal air mass cushions the impact | Rigid, transmits the gust |
| At the very least | Deforms, followed by a precautionary deflation | Holds... then lets go more abruptly |
| Nominal wind speed | 38 km/h | 38 km/h |
On a competing screen, the weight increases faster than the size: the structure goes from 58 kg (6 m) to 750 kg (20 m) — the size is multiplied by 3, the weight by 13. Since the NF X35-109 ergonomic standard caps loads at 15 to 25 kg per person, the number of crew members rises exponentially.
| Size | Competitor's total weight | Lace-Up Fasteners | Team (estimate) | We |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6 m | 70 kg | 125 | ~2 | 1 |
| 9 m | 145 kg | 180 | ~3–4 | 1 |
| 12 m | 249 kg | 290 | ~5–6 | 1 |
| 16 m | 417 kg | 380 | ~7–9 | 2 |
| 20 m | 868 kg | 470 | ~10–14 | 2–3 |
At about €200 per person per day, a 12-meter screen requires nearly 5 people at our competitor’s company, compared to just one at ours—a difference of about €800 per event, and tens of thousands of euros over a season of setups.
A competing screen measuring 16 to 20 meters is shipped on two pallets and is very heavy. Ours, which is three times lighter, fits in a pickup truck: less fuel and less logistics for every trip.
A thick, rigid PVC tarp takes up a lot of space and occupies several cubic meters of warehouse space all year round. Our flexible fabric compresses easily: less space tied up, better resistance to moisture.
Carrying heavy loads and tying hundreds of straps, night after night, is no small matter. The official figures speak for themselves:
Our screens—which are lightweight, flexible, and secured with Velcro—eliminate the risk at the source: just one person can install them without straining their back or wearing out their hands.
A long-term warranty is only valuable if backed by a company that stands the test of time. Since 1992, Hallucine has been designing inflatable screens—with more than 1,000 screens sold worldwide. With 34 years of real-world experience, we offer a 10-year product warranty—while the industry standard is just 2 years. Longevity, proven durability, and a long warranty: these three factors reinforce one another.
| Creation | Length of Service | Warranty | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hallucinate | 1992 | 34 years old | 10 years |
| Benchmark Competitor Screen | 1994 | 32 years old | 2 years (3 with a surcharge) |
