Frequently asked questions
The airtight screen uses a sealed air chamber: once inflated, it retains its shape without a continuous blower. A blower screen needs its blower connected throughout use. The choice depends on screen size, acceptable noise and the available power supply; the airtight range also includes models wider than 27 ft.
Our competitors mainly use PVC tarpaulins. We use two technical fabrics: a airtight polyamide inspired by kitesurfing for the airtight range, and a high-tenacity polyamide from DuPont de Nemours (the fabric used in car airbags) for the blower range.
The maximum comfortable viewing distance is about 6 to 8 times the screen width. Our size guide gives the full chart, from audience to screen width. As a guide, our recommended audience is 20 to 50 spectators for a 14 ft screen, 90 to 200 spectators for 27 ft and 500 to 1,500 spectators for 50 ft.
Yes. Our inflatable screens withstand winds up to 24 mph (force 5), in both the airtight and blower ranges. Beyond that, we recommend deflating the screen as a precaution — it only takes a few minutes.
Yes, all our screens are designed for front and rear projection. The projection screen fabric is removable and reversible.
Warranty depends on the range: 10 years on the blower range structure, 3 years on the airtight range and 1 year on the economic range.
