Events: your questions
What size big screen is best for a festival?
It depends on the size of the audience and the viewing distance. For a large gathering, we usually recommend a distance of 23 to 73 ft. An inflatable screen can be set up in minutes, even in hard-to-reach locations. We can help you choose the right size.
Can a match be broadcast in broad daylight?
During the day, opt for an LED screen that’s visible in direct sunlight. In the evening, a rear-projection inflatable screen is more than adequate. We’ll advise you based on the time of day and the lighting conditions at your event.
Rent or buy for events?
For a one-off event, renting is almost always the right choice. If you organize several events a year, buying may be a good option. We’ll advise you based on how often you use it.
What screen size is best for the general public?
As a general rule, allow 4 ft of image width for every 27 ft between the screen and the back row, and keep the front row at least 1.5 times the width away. For audiences of several hundred people, a screen 33 ft wide or more is usually recommended. We’ll work with you to determine the right dimensions.
